The fleet maintenance is performed by our staff and certified mechanics on monthly and mileage schedules that cover safety and functional performance tests to assure that every vehicle is always kept in "top-notch" electronic/mechanical condition and reassuring safety standards. Professional detailers perform their duties on a specified daily detailing schedule. Five Signs You Chose the Wrong Limo Company

Not many people know much about limousines, but if you look closely enough, you should be able to tell whether your current limousine company is really up to snuff. Here are five signs that you might want to consider switching. Rest assured, at Waco Limo, you won’t even see one of these signs. We hold ourselves to the highest standard, so we provide only the best service to our valued customers.

No License Plate

It seems obvious, but if you see a limousine without a license number, that’s a good sign that everything else is a no-go. Limousines aren’t permitted to operate without a valid license number—if the company can’t even get that right, then there’s a good chance nothing else will go right, either.

When you need to get to your destination quickly—like during airport shuttle service—you don’t want to wait while your limousine is pulled over. A license plate isn’t just a “good sign,” it’s absolutely essential.

Unaddressed Issues On the Vehicle Itself

You wouldn’t wait months to get a basic repair handled on your own car. Simple issues around the limo—from torn upholstery to a door handle that doesn’t quite work—are a sign that the limousine company doesn’t give your experience the attention to detail it requires.

Problems with how the vehicle drives are even worse. When you hire a private vehicle, don’t be bashful about expecting one that doesn’t have any strange noises or is in obvious need of repair. Before you can feel comfortable, you have to feel safe.

Total Lack of Cleanliness and Upkeep

Should you expect a virtually spotless interior? If you ask us, the answer is obvious: of course you should. You’re paying for a complete experience, not for a dirty or ragged out limousine. Although you might want to let the small stuff slide—say, a little bit of dust that’s outside the limousine company’s control—that doesn’t mean you should stand for anything less than totally clean. Dents, missing hardware, ripped or worn carpet, the list could go on and on… and let’s not forget the driver. Tube socks and shorts are obviously not in the attire expected from your personal chauffeur, is it? Does this sound made up…?

Obvious Lack of Experience

So far, we’ve looked at signs that you’ve chosen the wrong limousine company—when you encounter the limousine in person. But what about before you even book the limousine? In that case, look to experience. Does the company have the following:

      • An established web presence with pictures of their vehicles?

      • A reputation built online with user reviews and local listings?

      • Word-of-mouth in the local area?

If it has none of the above, then you know that you’re giving an untested limousine company a shot. This has its risks. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Basic Fees

It’s one thing to look for the most affordable limousine option. Be sure to watch for hidden fees. Some limo companies will drop their prices to draw you in, only to hit you with fees when payment time comes around. Make sure you deal with a company who is transparent with you about costs.

Fortunately, with Waco Limo, you’ll get the best of the best from the most acclaimed limo company in Waco, Texas. Book your limousine online today!

Limo Etiquette: Steps for a Smooth Ride

When you order your first limo, it’s important to know a few rules of etiquette to help keep you and your guests as comfortable as possible.

Be clear with your limousine company.

First things first: you’ll book your limousine and mark it down in your calendar. Simple enough, right? But even ordering a pizza is more complicated than “send me a pizza,” which is why you should take the time to know exactly what you want before you book. For the best experience, make sure you discuss the following with your Waco limousine company.

  • Number of guests. How many people will come with you on the trip? If you have a large party and aren’t sure how many will attend, do your best to create an accurate estimate.

  • Destination(s). Don’t add or subtract destinations at the last minute if you can avoid it. It’s better to have a plan in mind. It’s not that drivers can’t be flexible; it simply makes for much less worry on your end.

  • Any extra requirements or amenities. Do you have a guest with particular needs, or did you want to plan an anniversary surprise that will come with the limousine? Let us know ahead of time so we can arrive early and accommodate everything you need.

Be polite to your limousine driver.

Most good limousine etiquette means being polite and kind to your driver. They’re there to drive you around, after all. Try to avoid asking the driver to “speed up.” Remember, your driver has to follow the rules of the road and often protocol with the company that employs them.

If you have any special requests, do your best to make them with the company upfront so that your driver doesn’t have any surprises along the trip. It’s not only polite to the driver, but it will help you ensure that you have a great Waco limousine experience.

Keep it safe.

Stay seated when possible, don’t knock around the limousine, and certainly don’t try to distract a driver who’s simply trying to get you from A to B as safely as possible. Sure, some limousines come with a little more freedom than your standard car, but that’s not an excuse to turn a party bus into something far beyond what it’s designed for.

Remember how we told you to accurately estimate your party size? An over-stuffed limousine is unlawful, a safety hazard as well, so that plays a role here. And when you do have a large party, make sure to be a responsible host when it comes to serving beverages. Don’t break the law or go outside the rules, or else you might put the driver at risk as well.

It doesn’t take much to practice good limousine etiquette—just a little common sense and plenty of preparation. Complete all the steps above and you’ll be free to focus on having fun.

The most important step of all? Book your trip with a leading Waco limo company!

Pick the Quality Limousine Every Time with These Principles

What’s the secret to avoiding buyer’s remorse when you hire a limousine?

One word: preparation.

Whether you have a lot of money in your budget to set aside for limousine rides or need to set aside a little money to save up for a limousine service, it’s easy to have buyer’s remorse if the experience doesn’t live up to the hype. If you don’t already have a limousine company that you know and trust already picked out, the process of hiring a limousine for the first time can be, appropriately, a little daunting.

Until now, that is. With a little preparation and these principles in mind, you should be able to avoid ever picking the wrong limousine company again.

What Do the Wrong Limousine Companies Do?

This is an important question because once you recognize the habits of bad limousine companies, you’ll begin to recognize them as soon as you start inquiring about their services. Here are just a few of the bad habits of limousine companies that don’t quite pass the “smell” test:

  • Charging inordinate upfront fees. Typically, a limousine company will charge a 25-50% upfront fee or deposit for their services. If a limousine company goes far above that—even as high as 100%–that can be a good sign that you need to move to the next candidate.

  • Offering no “preview” of your choice of car. If a limousine company has quality vehicles to provide, they’ll be happy to let you come down and check them out in person before making a decision. Other limousine companies…not so much.

  • Insisting upon their drinks. A cheap bottle of champagne can run you as much as $50-$100…if the limousine company is ripping you off. Avoid this by checking with the limousine company first to see if you can simply bring your own drinks. Most legitimate limousine companies will be happy to allow you to bring your own drinks as long as you and your party are legal! Quality limousine companies will earn money on the service they provide, not on the exorbitant fees they charge for drinks.

  • Skirting basic certification. An individual doesn’t up and start a limousine company by deciding to drive people around in their car—there’s a process to building a legitimate limousine service that requires certification and licensing. Make sure to check up on the licensing and certification of your limousine service before agreeing to hire them.

Seeking Out Good Limousine Service

With these principles in mind, you should start to recognize the familiar “hints” of bad service. But what about finding good service? The best thing you can do is search around, seek out referrals, and follow up on limousine companies by getting in touch with them to see how much they’re willing to talk with you about their offerings. Generally, the better the limousine service, the more willing they’ll be to tell you all about their fleet, their experience, and their chauffeurs.

Don’t get ripped off: do your due diligence, recognize the signs, and make a confident decision the next time you hire a limousine.
